On the bright side.

We had Chinese food this evening & my husbands fortune cookie saying kind of got to me! Who knew a little cookie with generic sayings could be so thought provoking. Lately I am guilty of having a pretty crappy disposition......

At work we started a new computer system ::insert headache here:: I am a pretty independent worker, I can take a class, do a supervised run through and I am GOOD TO GO. But man these folks are all in my bubble! Training people and hanging out over my shoulder while I am just trying to provide GOOD(petty jab at the worst co worker in the world haha) customer service and get people on their way. On the bright side it will calm down & people will eventually stop invading my personal space. In the meantime after tomorrow I do not have to go back until Wednesday!

My 1 year wedding anniversary is on Monday & I am very excited to go out of town with my husband this weekend BUT my gift (for him) has not arrived yet! =( On the bright side the husband is a typical guy and doesn't make a big deal about getting a gift AND we're going to vegas! yay.

On Dec 14th I am having a minor but necessary surgery....and anytime anesthesia is involved I can't help but be nervous! Good thoughts are appreciated :) On the bright side recovery time is only a few days and my deductible had already been satisfied!

I could go on & on about my crappy attitude BUT I will stop here and just resolve to have a better one! Go to work to work (ignore the politics), stay positive & take care of my health! & be happy. Thank you fortune cookie. ;)

The end.

What a great quote. It's a good reminder, because it's easy to forget how in control of our own happiness we truly are! (-:

Praying for your surgery. (-:
