In response to what you said on my tat, I look at my newest tat on my arm EVERY DAY and love it more and more. I actually can't wait to get another one! If someone wants to judge me based on my tattoos then they probably aren't someone I want to know. Last I checked I want people to get to know ME, not judge me based on how I look.

I have 4 and I was disowned with the first 2 but I think because they were visible I was forgiven then I had a miscarriage and decided to get the one on my wrist much like yours and of course everyone and their mom had an opinion I still feel today when I meet people and go for the shake they stare at my wrist NOT COOL. There are far worst things to get disowned for and I've always said if they are going to judge me based off what is on my body then they probably aren't the type of people I want to associate with : love the tattoo btw

First of all...your mom is just being a mom...and I'm sure you understand that. I know its not right for her to give you a hard time since she already has one herself. Maybe she has regret about her tattoo?

I would like to get some done too. I actually have 4 picked out. 2 for my wrist and one for my back and the other for my ankle. So many things stop me. First I have CT so if I ever needed surgery on my wrist...they just wouldn't look good. Then I figure I'm not exactly sure how my kid(s) would react if I had them done. My mom had got my dad's name on her back..alittle below her neck about a month or so before my wedding. I told her that she needed to wear her hair down so it wouldn't show. My last thing was that I didn't want my grandkids to try and stretch out my wrinkled skin to try and figure out what it was. I don't know...maybe one day when I'm drunk who knows what I will end up with!

I have 2, getting a third one soon. My dad was less than impressed with me getting them, but hey I'm an adult and got them when I was an adult and he can't do anything about it.

For your mom to disown you and she has one herself, is kind of ridiculous! I know people are against them, but that doesn't make getting a tattoo bad! Getting one doesn't make you a different person!

I don't have a tattoo either but I've always wanted one. Yours is not something you'd regret... yours is something that would mean a lot the rest of your life, so I definitely approve!! Not that it should matter. I just don't like it when people put them tattoos on their heads.
